The real focus for the 2019 season is to build on the foundations we set as a club last year. It was the first year in a long time where the 1st team was competing to win the league and this has to be our primary target this season. The key to this season is to make sure everyone contributes in both Saturday teams giving the Captains a nice problem to have when selecting both sides and making sure the 2nd team Captain has 11 players to compete in the league.

Winning the Wednesday 20 over league last year was a great effort as we went unbeaten throughout the season and picking up the winners prize. This year the team will be Captained by 3 of our exciting young talents, who have developed through the youth set up and have established themselves as key members of the 1st team. This responsibility will really help and develop their understanding of managing a game of cricket but more importantly prepare them for Captaincy on a Saturday in the future.
